Five year warranty, not!
I have used leviton products for many years and I think they are some of the finest products on the market. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same for their customer service and they’re deceptive five year warranty.Be aware that leviton states that their warranty is based on manufacture date of the product. If the product you happen to buy has been sitting on the shelf for 18 months at the distributor. You have lost 18 months of that five-year warranty they state to give you. I recently had one of their products fail, I called to see if I could get it replaced under warranty. Their customer Rep told me that warranty starts the day it is packaged at the factory and that even though I had only purchased the switch 3 1/2 years ago it was no longer under warranty. I told him that does not make sense, he stated when you buy a car if it sits on a lot, it’s only warrantied from the time it’s manufactured, perhaps they’re like all the other manufacturers out there these days having trouble finding anyone with an IQ over 70.PS: the customer support person failed to hang up immediately after our conversation and I heard him laugh as he put down the phone, perhaps they keep a scoreboard on how many customers they say up yours during the day!

If You Buy One, You’ll Buy More
I ordered a couple of Leviton smart switches last year to solve the lack of a 3-way switch issue. That was a mistake on my part. Now I have 15 of these devices integrated into my home. I installed this particular outlet – a smart outlet – in my garage to make automating my outdoor Christmas yard decorations. First, it’s a direct replacement for any standard duplex outlet. All that is needed is to hook up hot, return and ground wires and it’s almost ready to go. If you have previously installed any Leviton Wi-Fi smart device, the Wi-Fi pairing happens automatically. If this is the first one installed, then manual Wi-Fi configuration is also very easy. Once it’s paired with your Wi-Fi, then all you need to do is set-up a schedule in the Leviton app. The outlet is hot on the lower half and switched on the upper half, just like a typical switched outlet is wired. A push button on the face allows the upper outlet to be turned on manually. Bottomline: quality device, easy to install and a great app for setting up schedules and other routines. Just beware, you’ll want more if you install one!!

Supports Matter and is reliable – has exceeded my expectations
I have three of these devices in my home. I purchased them because my Wemo devices were becoming unreliable and hadn’t had a firmware update in years (despite me checking). I also wanted to support an American company, Leviton. (Although I can’t say for sure where the devices were manufactured) These Leviton devices are extremely reliable with my commercial Wi-Fi setup. I immediately upgraded the stock firmware to the Matter version. In 6 months there have been three firmware updates, which I consider to be excellent. The Matter connectivity works great through my AppleTV, iPhones, iPads, and through the Leviton app. I generally use the Home app on my iPhone. The only hiccup was I did have to re-enroll them once due to an Apple update, but thankfully the process was painless. Please note that once you update to the Matter firmware, the pairing code on the back/side will no longer be valid. You will need to note the new Matter pairing code after the update, or you can look it up in the Leviton app.

No Brainer Easy setup
Added this to automate Stained Glass Antique lamps on my Entry Hall Credenza. One too many times I come home with my hands full and nearly dash the thing to bits trying to turn on the light. My wife would have done me in if I had ruined the aesthetic by cutting the fabric wrapped cord or replacing the bulb socket to automate this. Now it’s always on when you come home in the dark and it dims to 20% around midnight so it’s not enough light to disturb the bedrooms down the hall but you can still navigate on night rounds and it’s turned off 15 minutes after Sunrise when there is enough natural light to navigate. The Leviton app lets you set schedules, adjusts for Daylights savings time and with Google Home and IFTTT integration you can control them with voice or other home automation sensors and sequences.

Unstable in HomeKit
Upd. Apparently leviton somehow pushed update to all switches, so they turned into Matter devices. The trick part is Matter requires IPv6 to work, which is still a rare thing unless you have a modern network. Also update was set to manual mode to prevent exactly updating to Matter protocol. So I’m going to bump the rating to 3 stars, as devises are working, but Leviton didn’t honor my choice to not to update , forcing me to purchase a new router! These just keep disconnecting from HomeKit. I have them installed oll over in my house. The randomly disconnecting, and a few im not able to connect again. Although they still reachable via native Leviton app

A good switch with bad design language.
The switch has been flawless. It works as indented. The problem is the design language. Say a TP link switch has a light right at the spot where you know you have to touch it in a dark room. Or you might not even see the switch but physically you can decipher its control logic. Not this thing. It is completely flat and the light is nowhere near what you want to hit. There is nothing to guide your eyes or your hands . More than a few times now I have just bludgeoned this thing. It is a good thing it is actually a decent switch and put up with that.

Makes life a bit easier
We purchased this product for our media room to give it an ambient field when you’re watching movies my husband did the installing but it was fairly easy for him. It took him about 15 to 20 minutes to get it installed and I love that it connects to our Alexa app Where we can utilize this from our phone to adjust the lighting or to turn it off

HomeKit Users: Read if your having stability issues.
I have been using these for several months now and would constantly have “No Response” notifications in HomeKit, sometimes even minutes after connecting via Home Kit. I was at my wits end, then I decided to re-read the instructions and connect them how Leviton said to. Now I am totally stable, no issues.I finally found the solution that works for me: Connect using the Leviton App first, Update Firmware, then add to Home Kit.I’m used to just by-passing the manufacture apps and just adding connected devices to home using the HomeKit QR code. Heck, most manufactures just dump you into Home Kit from their app anyway, why would Leviton be different? Leviton is different.Step 1: Download the My Leviton app. I did register an account but you do not have to.Step 2: Name your residence, I just named mine HomeStep 3: Add your Rooms.Step 4: Add your device, your switch should be flashing green. If not, hold the top of the rocker switch until it turns orange, then flashes red and green (about 15 seconds) let go and the fixture connected to the switch will turn off, feel free to turn the fixture back on: then wait until the switch flashes green.Step 5: In My Leviton app, add device. Select which device you have. I have the 2nd generation switch, so I selected that device.Step 6: The app will ask if the light is flashing green, click Yes Lets Go. Your device should appear on the list of devices that are ready to set up. Tap your device your setting up, Click Next.Step 7: Select your WiFi Network, select Next, enter your Password.Step 8: Select the icon you want for your switch, name your switch, select next and now you can control your switch in the My Leviton App.Step 9: Tap the 3 dots on the top right side of the Switch tile, select Device Settings, select Device Health, select Check Firmware Update. Wait 1-5 minutes.Step 10: In the My Leviton app, in the main menu that shows all your switch tiles, tap the hamburger menu on the bottom right hand side of the app, when the update is available it will show an icon next to system update.Step 11: Click System update. Tap Update next to the switch. Tap OK on the notification that its updating. Once you get the All Clear! Message, your switches firmware has been updated.Step 12: Go to Home Kit, click the + icon to add a deviceStep 13: Scan the Home Kit QR codeStep 14: Continue with Home Kit Pairing.Your Welcome.

So Far So Good
I’ve been using these for over 6 years now. I started with the 1st Gen switches. Now I’m starting to use the 2nd Gen switches. I love them both. I think the Gen 2 switches are easier to setup. I have them installed throughout the house. Just like other users, I’ve had to replace 2 of them. I keep 1 in stock now, just in case. However, they are very convenient and reliable. I don’t have connection problems, I have good WiFi throughout the house. I love that I can setup schedules and that I can control the lights from anywhere in the world where I have an internet connection. I will be buying more. I recommend them.

Could have been designed better – Bulky is an understatement
While I have several of the Gen 1 versions of this switch… and they all seemed to fail after about 3 years of use, this Gen 2 version is clearly an engineer’s design done in the silo of an office by some one who hasn’t ever touched a screwdriver. While Gen 1’s repeatedly failed in a very short time period, the Gen 2 variant is now made with pigtail wiring that require wire nuts. So an already bulky switch that at least had side mounted wiring connections, now takes up even more space. Try fitting five wire nuts behind this switch in a standard single gang electrical box. Good luck. It feels like this was either reimagined by an engineer who has never taken a switch plate off or someone in cost controls trying to limit the price of making this switch. It’s a bummer because functionality they are great. The app is simple and just frankly works. These things lose their glory at the form factor and sheer size. Now with Gen 2, they are even harder to actually get in a wall.

Leviton is back for Alexa
I bought probably 50 Leviton smart switches over the past 10 years. I always chose Leviton because they were inexpensive, easy to set up with Alexa and every bit as good as the Lutron equivalents. About 5 years ago, Leviton first hiked the price on their switches (double!) and then ran out of stock as they waited for an engineering upgrade. I finally had to move on to Lutron. I couldn’t do as much because Lutron’s switches were $100 or more for simple single-pole switches. We moved (again) and I needed to set my outside garage lights on a timer. It’s a perfect application for a smart switch. I was genuinely pleased to see that Leviton offered an Alexa-integrated single pole switch for less than $50.I just finished installing it, connected it to Alexa and now my garage lights go on at sunset and off at sunrise. I am very pleased. I will probably set up more lights and fans inside to work with Alexa. I can’t tell you how happy I am that Leviton is back, offering quality products at reasonable prices.

Easy to set up and provide flawless automation
I have spent hours fussing with smart plugs (looking at you wemo with thread plug) that would disconnect from my smart home, or wouldn’t automate despite the schedule I set for them, or not respond despite being connected to my home network. These Leviton outlets are a revelation by comparison: they are very easy to set up, they follow automation/schedules flawlessly, and I absolutely love that they don’t require an additional “box” on top of a plug like other smart plugs because they ARE the plug!My use case is to save money on my electric bill and because I have a time-based plan (for EV charging) I need to turn off unwanted leechers of power during peak hours. My biggest issue was charging devices: phones, tablets, and watches–each which would get plugged in before going to sleep but my plan provides the cheapest rates after midnight and I go to bed before that. The devices then start charging during peak pricing because they don’t wait to charge. Enter these smart outlets! Now I can plug in my devices while the smart outlet is off and once the outlet turns on after midnight the devices charge on the cheapest rate and are ready for the next day!Other examples include turning off devices like TVs, streaming boxes like AppleTVs and Roku boxes, and smart speakers in rooms overnight where they aren’t gonna be used so that they don’t leech power. Again, you can do all this with other smart plugs but these work so well that they aren’t as much of a hassle and are less bulky than over-the-plug style smart plugs.

easy to install, so far does a great job
Wanted to be able to control a power outlet, so I can turn on/off remotely my espresso machine.Smart outlet device was very easy to install and set up. All was needed was the circuit breaker to be off and just mimic the connections of the outlet already in place.Once the install was done, followed the clear instructions and configured my new outlet. Integration with Apple Home (Siri) and Amazon (Alexa) was very easy and straightforward. Not using scenes or schedules related to this device yet but manually turn the outlet on at wakeup, so by the time I go downstairs to the kitchen, my espresso machine is ready to go.

Outdoor Lights On at Dusk Everyday
I purchased this remote dimmer for my outdoor front door and garage sconce lights. I programmed it to automatically come on at dusk, and off around 11pm; later on the weekends. I can override and operate my lights from anywhere / anytime. Great for when I’m on vacation or out late on a night around town. I should have purchased this years sooner.

Excellent Plug
Even though Amazon will not allow products to say they are Apple homeKit compatible, this one is HomeKit compatible. Zero problems brining it into HomeKit (was probably the smoothest install of all our 200+ devices and sensors). I write this review about one month after installing the plugs as I want to make sure they remained stable before reviewing. One month later and the plugs are working flawlessly and flawlessly in HomeKit. We ended up buying about 4 more of these plugs to have on hand for when we identify a new place we need one and we just switch out that outlet. Highly recommend this plug.FYI: I did not rate technical support because I had no need to contact them. So, not rating should not reflect on their tech support, rather should reflect on the flawless nature of the product.

Not only a good product, also excellent technical support
Purchased to control lighting on my 170 gallon aquarium. Very easy to install and reliable operation. For the rare problem tech support is immediately reachable and very helpful. After 8 months of flawless operation I thought the unit was failing and my problem was pushed to level 2 tech support. Turned out to be a defective WiFi, but tech support stood by until the problem was resolved. Couldn’t ask for more.

Wonderful features, easy to control from anywhere in the world you have internet. It is expensive. Great security item. Software needs some work; graphics are too small and color contrast is difficult to see. We don’t use Alexa we use the provided leviton software.

Doesn’t Play Sirius/XM or Spotify…😔
Replaces a single-pole switch in a double gang box with no need for the traveler. Capped it with a wire nut. Integration was flawless and quick. Executes “Alexa” commands. Does play Amazon Music and Pandora. Does NOT play Sirius/XM or Spotify. So 4 stars. These incomplete IoT licenses are a disappointment. We’ve also had iSwitch and Ecobee with the similar issues. Will keep do to the Black Friday discounted price and in the bedroom I have my phone, laptop and smart TV to play the blocked services.

Works great, except
I installed this along with the companion dimmer since I have a 3-way switch and I ran into an issue during the install. I assumed this dimmer would be the master switch and the companion switch would be the remote when looking at the wiring diagram. Wrong. The instructions consider this dimmer to be the remote on the diagram, and the companion dimmer is the master switch. So I had to swap the two after I installed them backwards. My bad.One the switches were installed and working, setting up the Leviton app went smoothly. After that I added them to HomeKit and Alexa. Again, smoooth. Here’s where I found 2 issues that take away that 5th star. First, the Leviton app lets you specify a minimum brightness in the dimming range, but both the app control and both dimmer switches let the lights go dimmer than that. Second, when the lights are off and you press the “up brightness” rocker, instead of turning on at the minimum brightness (which I set at 15%), it turns on at 1%. I can watch the level in the app. Of course the lights won’t actually light up at 1% so I press the rocker again which raises them to 2%. Still no light so I press the rocker again. And again. And again. Finally after 5 presses the lights barely come on at 5% according to the app. It takes even more presses to get the lights to a usable brightness. With my old non-smart dimmer I could turn on my lights at their set minimum brightness with a single press of the “up” rocker. Am I asking for too much? What DOES work however, is setting up nighttime mode. Now I can simply turn on the lights at 4:30am and they come on dimmed to 15% instead of cover-your-eyes-while-I-turn-on-the-SUN.

Nice to see new models. Looking forward to seeing how they perform.
I have many of the Gen 1 devices in my house. Leviton has been my favorite brand for switches. I also have tried Legrand and Aqara switches but always come back to Leviton as my fav.Pros:#1) 2.4GHz only: I know a lot of people complain about this. But I find this to be a benefit. HomeKit does not need the bandwidth of 5GHz. Most dual band mesh networks share a SSID and mine in particular (Orbi) cannot be separated. My Gen 1 Decora Smart switches were constantly dropping with any WiFi interruption. And these are the only HomeKit devices I have other than Apple TV and HomePods that are dual band devices. I am looking forward to see how these new switches handle the same interruptions.#2) Self grounding: The metal mounting flanges are self-grounding to metal switch boxes with grounded conduit. This eliminates the need to use the ground wire. I liked this about Gen 1 and am happy to see this also on the Gen 2. Other brands use plastic mounting flanges that require the use of the ground wire.#3) It has both wireless and wired options for 3 way connections. If you have a Gen 1 switch installed in a 3-way set up with a DD0SR coordinated remote this is a drop in replacement. And now it gives you the option to use a wireless remote as well.Cons:#1) Setup: The setup didn’t seem to go as smoothly as the Gen 1. I attempted to add directly to Home App multiple times. I reset the switch, restarted my phone, but could never “connect” to the switch when adding accessory. I ended up having to add to the new Leviton app first, and then add to HomeKit via the Home app. I also bought the new Gen 2 dimmer wall plug and had same experience. I am not sure if it’s my system or the new device, but it wasn’t the experience I’m used to.#2) Wire Leads: The Gen 1 had screw connections. This is by far a better way to install IMO. The leads and wire nuts take too much space.

Check Home Depot pricing
Switch works. I have 30+ of them integrated with HomeKit. Initially had an issue with them sporadically being ‘No Response’ in HomeKit, but this resolved when I changed my network (from Orbi to Unifi). Tread carefully in the Leviton early access Matter program if you are into that sort of thing. My one complaint with Leviton is that their iOS app currently does not directly integrate with HomeKit; you have to add the device to both (if you want firmware updates from Leviton). Also which they would just adopt Thread…would be a game changer.CHECK PRICING AT HOME DEPOT. I have purchased a bunch of these from Amazon and realized too late that: i) Home Depot has the same switch for $10 less (based on pricing I am seeing today); and ii) the Home Depot packaging includes color change plates, which are $5-$8 a each on Amazon.

Works good once you get past installation.
To get past installation, I had to deal with connectivity issues and then patch the switches via the phone app. It’s not difficult to do once you get the switches to behave themselves for a moment. All I had to do was to reset the router. Resetting the router got all the switches to reconnect to Wifi at once. In the My Leviton app, I went to the “…” of the device -> Device Settings -> Device Health -> Check for Firmware Update. Upgraded to version 1.6.4 and don’t seem to have any issues now. After that, I didn’t have any issues. My Leviton seems to work with Google Assistant just fine. Nice to have these light switches set up for my “Good Morning” and “Bedtime” routines. They don’t disconnect from both the power and Wifi when someone turns off a light switch like the smart LED light bulbs do, which is great.

Amazing, almost perfect
This is fantastic concept and clears up so much space for areas where you don’t want a bulky smart plug connected. We’re personally using it in our kitchen near the end of the counter. The bottom plug is for the always on coffee machine and the top plug (the smart outlet section) is for the Christmas season when we run Christmas Lights up on top of the cabinet. It’s perfectly located to allow us to run a flat plugged extension chord up to the top of the cabinets between the wall and the open gap from the cabinet. The outlet itself was very easy to install…like a typical receptacle and I love that it uses the compression style crimps on the sides of the receptacle where you don’t need to “hook/loop” the conductor cables. It’s the standard size for GFCI receptacle so it fits just fine into the box. The reactive speed when using Apples Homekit to turn it on and off is near instant, and the button in the middle for manual control of the top section is easy to use. There are only a few things I wish I could change about this receptacle:1) Make it so both Plugs can be controlled, not just the top half.2) Use a quieter relay…The contactor is LOUD when it turns on/off….almost comically loud….I’m honestly surprised Leviton was okay with this.3) Thread connectivity would also be fantastic to have built into these receptacles to help strengthen the connection for multiple receptacles and other devices using the Thread protocol. If all 3 of my changes could be incorporated. I would throw money at this product in a very irrespirable way. There’s nothing else out on the market like this…the closest you’ll get is a smart power strip (which obviously has it’s own advantages/disadvantages compared to it all being built into a receptacle in the wall.)The price point is a little high for what is described above. I picked this up on sale for about 20% off and I’d say it’s worth that….but with overall cost compared to what you get compared to getting a smart plug or a smart power strip, you’d likely be better off going that route. Unless like me, you wanted a specific use-case where not having a large brick hanging out of the wall would be more preferable then this thing is awesome. It looks incredibly clean, it’s super responsive, and unfortunately it’s also super loud (Which I guess is a good way to make sure it’s working?)4/5 for what it is….5/5 if they include those three updates I’m looking for. Great product.

Quality switch but…
Looks and works well. Would be 5 stars except Alexa often forgets it can control the fan and the skill vocabulary is VERY limited. For example, you cannot tell Alexa to “stop the fan”…you to tell Alexa to “turn off the fan”. Similar for setting speed. You can say “set fan to 2” but not “set fan speed to 2”

Works great and easy to set up
Setup was a breeze. I set it up with its mater support so that i did not need to install the app though this does not allow for device firmware updates. My only complaint so far would be the price. The price is a bit much when compared to other similar devices.

Dimmer for new living room light
I have numerous Leviton smart switches and plugs but this was my first wall switch dimmer which I needed for a new light fixture in the living room. Once it was installed I was able to quickly add it to my Leviton app and the living room so I can now turn on or off every light in the room. Also added it to a couple of different scenes (activities), one of which allows me to turn it on dimmed in the early morning hours. When setting it up I liked that there were many controls for how it dimmed and how far it would dim. Works great and am very happy with the Leviton smart switches and plugs.

Works with Apple Home/ Siri, but . . .
I installed this smart switch to replace a mechanical 3-way switch. This was my second installation of this switch, but the first 3-way circuit. You need to identify the hot wire in your box, and you need a neutral wire. If you’re comfortable with wiring, the installation is pretty straight forward (but a tight fit.) If you’re creating a 3-way circuit, you must also wire a smart companion switch into the other box. The wiring of the companion switch is very different from a mechanical switch, so read the wiring diagram carefully. You need to be able to identify the red vs. red/yellow companion wires in the other box in order to wire the companion switch correctly. Sort all the wiring out in both boxes before replacing the switches. Once the switch is installed and powered up, you need to pair the switch to the “My Leviton” app. Pairing is straight-forward, and there are lots of neat features you can use from the app when the switch is connected. Siri/ Homekit integration is less easy. The switch will not pair with Apple Home when first energized. You need to download firmware updates first. Go to System Settings on the Leviton app and follow the update prompts. It takes about 20 minutes to download the firmware updates. Once installed, you will get a notice about updating to the Matter protocol. Say yes, and accept the update. You then need to find the “Matter Pairing Code”, which is under Device Settings for the switch. Open the Home app on your phone and use the pairing code or QR-code to add the device to Apple Home. This is NOT the same QR code that comes with the packaging. You can use Siri to control the switch once it has been added to Home.

It works!
I originally bought this for my pellet stove, but unfortunately it didn’t work with it but it works for everything else I’ve needed it for. Super simple set up!

Works with HomeKit via Matter, Leviton Companion Switch
Works great. I added it to the My Leviton app and upgraded to the Matter firmware. I was then able to successfully add it to HomeKit as a Matter accessory. I then paired it to a Leviton Decora Smart Anywhere switch for “physical” control. Finally I was able to group the outlet with some non-Leviton outlets in HomeKit and it all works great together as I can control a group of outlets together with one physical switch.

Works well
I use this as a backup for when I accidentally keep the lights on in my shop. Yeah I’m getting old and cranky and I don’t want to have to go back outside to turn the lights out when it’s 5 degrees out there. With the app I can turn the lights out from my warm living room, or if I forget, then they will go out by themselves at 8:00. It’s great for lazy people.I can’t comment on Alexa, I don’t use that annoying b….

Should had done this sooner
Got this smart plug mini with dimmer options for livingroom lamps. Took me a little to find on setup, I was thinking it was a dimmer not even considering that the picture on app clearly described a dimmer switch, not a smart plug. After that it worked and integrated with Alexa quick. Small delay when turning on and off, but just by a second, I’ll live with it.Benefits: no longer blinding kid in the morning when walking her out of her room and dealing with 20 minutes of screams. Priceless.

Part of a whole house upgrade. Can be tight in box if multi-gang switch, so took me a bit of time carefully packing all the wires back into the box.Had some LED flickering issues, but replacing the bulbs with GEs fixed it or at least reduced it too level of “don’t care”/”not too bad”.Upgraded whole house from contractor grade toggles to mix of smart and dumbdecora switches.List of models bought/used (cheat sheet)Smart switches==================================================================================Leviton D26HD-2RW : Decora Smart Wi-Fi Dimmer (2nd Gen)Leviton DD00R-DLZ : Decora companion for D26HD & DDL06-1LZ in 3-way applicationsLeviton D215P-2RW : Decora Smart Wi-Fi Mini Plug-In Switch (2nd Gen) [1]Leviton D23LP-2RW : Decora Smart Wi-Fi Mini Plug-In Dimmer (2nd Gen) [2]Leviton DW4SF-1BW : Decora Smart 4 speed fan controller [3]Non-Smart (dumb) switches==================================================================================Leviton 5601-2WM : Decora Rocker Single Pole AC Quiet Switch [4]Leviton DDL06-1LZ : Decora Rocker 3-Way AC Quiet Switch, Digital DimmerLeviton DD00R-DLZ : Decora companion for D26HD & DDL06-1LZ in 3-way applicationsLeviton 5685-2W : Decora Plus Rocker, SPDT, Center off, Maintained contact [5]Leviton LTB60-1LZ : Decora 1800W Incandescent/20A Resistive-Inductive 1HP Preset 10-20-30-60 Minute Timer [6]Lutron MSCL-OP153MH: Motion Sensor & dimmable (occupancy sensor) [7]Specials==================================================================================Leviton R12-80700-2w : blank toggle fill-in [8]Other Notes==================================================================================Leviton IPF01-1LZ : Fan Speed Control, didn’t use, used DW4SF instead.[1] Used for on/off floor lamp[2] Used for night stand lamp[3] Had this and Leviton IPF01-1LZ IllumaTech 1.5A Quiet Step Preset Fan Speed Control, but liked this one so much more I use this even in places I wanted a “dumb” fan speed controller.[4] Used for replacing toggle switches that don’t need to be smart[5] Used for bathroom fan light hi/lo[6] Used for bathroom fan on/off[7] Used in laundry room, walk-in closets & pantry areas where these is no lights and your hands are likely full[8] Some house upgrades elimated the need to switches (they use hand help remotes), so for these instead of leaving a dummy switch in place that did nothing, I replaced when with these and their decora equivalent.

It works as described
Can’t increase the volume of Alexa’s voice out sign a name other than Alexa. Drops WiFi connects often. This appears to be a discontinued item, but works for my needs. In my baths I use it to activate recirculation my Rinnai tankless hot water heater, to set the water temperature, to activate the shower fan, to update the guest when the water temperature is optimal, to turn off the shower exhaust after a predetermined time. My guest go” Wow”.

Supports Matter and has plenty of features
Since it supports Matter, this works with all the major smart assistants. It has plenty of options to make the switch and dimmer work the way you want it. Not any more difficult to install than a receptacle, however be aware these are at least 50% bigger than a normal light switch, so you may need to extend your existing electrical box or replace it with a new one. It all works great. My only suggestion to Leviton would be to put the locator light behind the top center of the rocker switch so it’s easy to tell where to press in the dark.

AMAZING
This switch is exactly what I was looking for. Very straight forward instructions on the connection. It allows you to dim the lights as well as schedule it to come on when you want it to. AKA “Vacation Mode” if you are looking for a programmable dimmer switch, look no further.

Works Great With Apple HomeKit
I used this Leviton 2nd Generation D25HD Dimmer for a set of two lights above our TV set. Watched a YouTube video for wiring instructions and that part was pretty easy. Ran into a little trouble with the setup until I read somewhere that in a duel band wi-fi network, the 5GHz band needs to be turned off during the setup. This smart dimmer can only be set up with the single 2.4 GHz running. After the setup, you can safely turn both bands back on again. My network is a duel band mesh wi-fi network with 3 Deco S4 routers. The utility software for these routers can be used to turn individual bands off and on. I do not use Alexa nor have I required Leviton’s tech support so cannot offer my opinion on those features. I really like this dimmer and have no problem recommending them for use with the Apple HomeKit.Update: After 6 months had an issue with the device dropping off line & needed to re-install it. Problems getting it back on HomeKit. Emailed support & the advice they offered me solved the problem. So, good support.

Neutral Wire
This is my third switch and I love it. Make sure you have a neutral wire to make it work as intended. If you have any questions, a quick YouTube search should answer some basic questions.

Very Good Product
This was used for a 3-way switch that was needed for a daily on off schedule. It was easy to install using the supplied instructions. After I installed this one I bought 2 more one for a 2-way switch and the other for another 3-way switch. The app from my iPhone works great from other states to check on status and turn the lights on and off. You will need to purchase the companion switch for a 3-way application.
