Tasty protein cookies
🔹Chocolate chip cookies:In my opinion, the texture is more like “regular” soft cookies. There is a little taste but I’m not sure from what, could be from butter. I don’t consume butter frequently so might not be used to the buttery taste. I prefer chewy cookies to soft or crunchy ones, but these cookies do satisfy my occasional cookie cravings.(For “regular” I’m trying to the ones with no protein, lots of sugar, lots of fat, and possibly lots of additives.)One thing to be aware: It has higher saturated fat compared to peanut butter cookies, since it contains more butter (second ingredient after the ingredients for protein blend).🔸Peanut butter cookies:The texture ranges from chewy to hard, depending on the batch/package. The ones from previous box were chewy, but this time they’re on the harder side. These cookies are more dense compared to chocolate chip cookies (thinner and break more easily).Butter is lower on the ingredient list, and these cookies are lower in sat fat. I would prefer the texture of these with chocolate chips since I like chocolate chips in cookies, but I like these cookies a lot. However, sometimes the box of both of these cookies are damaged when received, either the dotted lines were torn open, the tape seal on the box was opened, etc. I would review the seller differently, but I think these cookies are good!)I would try the other flavors, but they cost more. I’ve had the double chocolate cookies once but I don’t remember, since I bought it at a local store and there were 4 in a box.

They’re Good for Helping Kick a Sugar Addiction
I got these because I was doing Keto and they have 2 net carbs and 1 gram of sugar. They’re good for a snack or dessert (I would make a cream cheese frosting with erythritol to put on top of it) or for a meal on the go. Having said that, they don’t taste great and aren’t sweet. At least not in a way that you would expect a cookie to be sweet. I think if they were to add more sugar alcohols that would help sweeten it without adding carbs or calories, but for some reason they only went with 8g. I wouldn’t say they taste terrible or are disgusting, but they just aren’t that great. But in a way that is kind of a good thing. If you’re like me and you’re addicted to sugar and having something sweet every time you eat, this can help break that habit because it’s slightly sweet but also not so sweet that you will want more. I hope that makes sense lol.

high protein & taste good
Really good product. It actually does have high protein and low sugar. This is how it should be, of course, but numerous “high-protein bars” have more sugar than protein —you might as well buy a Snickers bar or some peanut butter cups. They also taste good, the only high-protein bar or cookie I’ve tried that I really LIKE; it’s not just a protein delivery system. I wish they were less expensive, but compared to other brands they’re reasonably priced. I should probably make it clear that I am talking about this particular flavor, not the other kinds, or the brand as a whole. Altogether, it’s really nice to have a dependable product for those days you really need the extra protein. These obviously aren’t like home-baked or bakery cookies, but so long as you don’t eat them side-by-side, they really do taste good! I am totally dependent on them right now.

A quick and tasty low carb protein boost
A delicious keto breakfast cookie with protein? Oh yes! If I don’t feel like making something for breakfast or just want something fast, this is my first choice. I have bought many boxes over the past few years because they actually taste good, nearly sugar free, low net carbs and have 15 grams protein. It would be nice if it had some vitamins and minerals though to make it a really good breakfast, snack or dessert. Note that it is sweetened with erythritol so I’m sure some people are going to avoid it with it being in the news lately.I love the chocolate chip cookies. I tried the chocolate chocolate chip cookies once and will never buy them again. I’m sticking to the chocolate chip ones cause I know I like them a lot. They might not be 100% like a regular cookie, but good enough to me especially with the protein. The price tends to jump around a lot on here. I refuse to buy them when it’s over $20/box. Keep an eye out for a subscribe and save coupon to make it a nice deal.

PRICE HAS SKYROCKETED
I’ve been buying these Quest cookies for a good number of years every month,,,and until the recent price gouging by the company, I’ve been quite satisfied and have recommended them to dozens of friends/people. It’s going to be difficult to let go of them, because they are quite good tasting and have high protein content. However, as a matter of principle, there seems to be no reason why Quest has increased the price (at least on Amazon) by anywhere from 20 to 33%. I can show invoices from the last 12 months ranging from $13.95 to $22 per box. It’s been on my Subscribe and Save program with Amazon for quite a long time; I’ve ordered them over 100 times (no exaggeration). But now, the price is completely outrageous, it is unstable (in that it changes all the time, even on the subscribe and save program, which should be designed to streamline ordering from Amazon, not show up with extreme price increases/changes to the point where there’s no reliability and what I will pay for these cookies. I very clearly understand market pricing based on supply and demand I’m also aware of the challenges companies face because the supply chain issues and labor shortages come at Cetera, as well as price increases for the ingredients Quest has to buy. But taken altogether,,,the extreme unreliability and the crazy price increases has rendered these very good tasting cookies as just too expensive. While I do understand market conditions, supply and demand, price increases for real materials, come etc. etc. as I said… it seems pretty obvious to me that Quest is taking advantage of the situation by PRICE GOUGING. I was paying approx $16.85/box for years on the S&S program,,,but now it’s costing well over $20, and sometimes $22. Is that not priced well beyond the rate of inflation. I feel betrayed by the company after buying their cookies and bars in massive ways for 10 years+.09/17/2023: the price for these cookies (at least as they are listed in my Subscribe and Save program) has come back down to a reasonable level!

Solid Taste and Good Amount of Protein
The taste isn’t great like a sugar filled CC cookie, but it’s good if you’re used to eating in the healthy and/or low carb side. It helps curb hunger between meals or acts as a first meal, depending on my morning.20 grams of protein minimum is really the mark for anything to truly be a protein snack, but this is close enough. It’s over 200 calories plus 15g protein, so it’s a solid cookie. I strength train and have been keto since 2018. This may not be for you if you eat sugar filled snacks, so please don’t put down the product bc it doesn’t taste like one.The only down side is the possible(read ingredients) soy inclusion.

Picky Eater Lives These!
My teen has Down syndrome and level 3 autism. Getting her to eat healthy foods is a daily struggle. I discovered these cookies 2 years ago and have been buying them ever since. Surprisingly, this is the one thing that she would eat all day if I let her. Because she won’t eat any type of breakfast food, healthy or unhealthy, she eats one cookie every morning for breakfast. Even though I’d prefer her to eat a healthier, whole food breakfast, this is a decent compromise that works for both of us. She’s not going to school hungry. And I’m just happy that I’ve discovered something she’d actually eat that’s not M&M’s.

Disappointing
I have eaten the Quest peanut butter cookie For a few years now, it’s a very tasty substitute for the Real thing. The box of chocolate chip cookies came today and I was so disappointed. I don’t like the texture of the dough particularly and there is nothing about this cookie that excited my taste buds.

Deserves a 4.5! Can’t do a 5 with a “diet” product. Almost same calories as a REAL cookie??
Tastes decent. Just decent. Texture is pretty good too. Price is fair, for a product like this. A similar “treat” I buy much more of, are Kirtland Protein Bars at Costco, which amount to less than a buck a piece! But, a good old Choco Chip cookie is sometimes just what the Doctor ordered, and so I still find myself looking for one of these once in a while. DIETING TIP – These are actually NOT that far from the calorie count of an ACTUAL cookie of the same grams/size. Just sayin, lol. If, calories are the MAIN concern.

Tastes healthy
I really wanted to feel like I was eating a chocolate chip cookie. I’m grateful that there is a Leto friendly chocolate chip cookie, but I was really hoping it would taste less “healthy”. With that said, my kids love them so they are pretty good.

I love most Quest products. These cookies are great when you need a quick treat and they are full of protein and low in sugar. I love the convenience of the auto-ship feature on amazon so that I never run out! There are many different flavors however the chocolate chip are by far our most favorite.

Some ingredients are probably not that healthy
Pros: A decent way to add some calories/protein to a small meal, they are just a little sweet which is fine, just don’t expect this to taste like Grandma’s chocolate chip cookies.Cons” Some ingredients are probably not that healthy; Corn Fiber, Soy, palm oil. soy and corn are the most common GMO food sources and I don’t see anything on that package that would indicate otherwise.

Very easy to get tired of artificial sweetener
Pros:- Keto-friendly as advertised- Has a good amount of protein- Does have consistency similar to a cookie- First or second cookie tasted alrightCons:- Typical of a lot of artificial sweeteners, this can give you the runs if you already incorporate erythritol into your diet. My stomach also started to have some spasms alongside abdominal discomfort; if you read up on scientific literature about this sweetener that’s actually pretty standard as far as side effects go- I got tired of the taste really quick. I ended up throwing away a cookie I was eating for lunch earlier today because of how grossed out I’ve become regarding this sweetener. I don’t think I can eat the rest of the cookies I have- While they’ve tried to make it similar to a cookie, it’s definitely still not a cookie. Has a bit of a soft chalk texture to it when chewingThese might be okay if you eat them like once a week or something. I don’t think they’re good to eat on a daily basis though.

Love QUEST but…
I’ve been eating QUEST brand products for years, as I have always tried to steer clear added sugars and tried to make sure most of my foods were nutritionally dense, they usually hit the mark.I used to think that having a high protein diet with good amounts of fiber it was given I would get some abdominal discomfort. However after reading some studies about artificial sweetners (specifically sugar alcohol) affects on the digestive system, I started to see that the constant bloating/gassy feeling I would get late in the evenings was actually a result of these sweetners. I stopped buying products using them altogether and my stomach health improved vastly, I rarely had gas. Sadly, it’s still hard to find products that taste this good and are nutritionally dense, so I slowly started to incorporate more of these foods back into my diet, taking note of how much I could deal with (the studies say moderate amounts are fine but it defers per person). However this cookie definitely has something in it that my stomach does not like, I have tried eating no other sources of fiber, I’ve tried eating nothing else with sugar alcohol, I’ve tried (with about 60% success) eating only half a cookie in 24 hrs but they always turn my stomach into a gassy (if not worse) mess within an hour or so of having eaten them. It’s their only product (the other cookies as well, *not the frosted ones though*) that causes this issue for me, just beware if you have these issues it could be the same for you.

Chocolate chip
I ordered the chocolate chip, double chocolate and peanut butter version of these cookies. I have been on keto for nearly a year and have been craving something sweet. Finally bit the bullet and searched for some keto friendly cookies. They arrived today. From the reviews I read, it seemed the chocolate chip were highest rated flavor wise from a number of people so I started with one of those, not wanting to be disappointed. My first reaction was the amount of net carbs – they claim 4g net carbs but show 19g of carbs with only 9g of fiber. I had to do a bit of research to learn the 6g of erythriol also gets subtracted from carbs, leaving 4 net carbs. I don’t understand the erythriol yet but that isn’t the cookie manufacturers fault. As for the cookie, while it is not the best cookie I’ve ever had, it is pretty good and satisfied the sweet craving I’ve had for a while. I didn’t notice any bad aftertaste some reviewers reported, nor were mine stale – they were fairly soft and had good flavor. i will buy again, even though they are pricey. Looking foward to trying the other two flavors on another day. Oh, and some reviewers reported they only received 11 cookies in their package – I counted my chocolate chip cookies and there were 12. Only gave the 4 star instead of 5 because I don’t think they are a perfect keto cookie. That said, I can’t say that a perfect keto cookie currently exists. My definition of perfect? Tasting as good as the best chocolate chip cookie I’ve ever had – or close. But that wouldn’t be a mass produced on anyway.

Not soft and chewy
I’ve ordered these cookies many times. However, in the last several boxes more than half of the cookies are as hard as rocks and inedible. Hubby recently threw away an almost full box. I’ve discovered the same cookies in a four-pack are consistently good. I’ve now canceled my auto ship of this item.

Quest needs to stop claiming these to be KETO FRIENDLY in the title
The people that are reviewing this and saying that it’s not keto friendly is clearly not doing keto properly & doing dirty keto. If you are on the keto diet you shouldn’t be even eating these cookies to begin with. You can’t expect to eat foods that are high carb dupes on the keto diet. That’s not even what the keto diet is about. It’s either you’re on the diet or you’re not, don’t half a$$ it & give a product a bad review b/c it kicked u out of ketosis. Low carb is not keto. Even 100% dark chocolate and nuts have carbs. Even cheese has carbs! The complaint abt the artificial sugar in here – Why are u eating these foods then? Did u not read the ingredients before buying as well? How does it makes sense that you’re examining the nutritional info AFTER eating for a few months? Do u knw that anything sweet can raise your blood sugar if you are carb sensitive? Its called the cephalic affect. U should know this if ur doing keto the proper way. I don’t think there are legitimate healthy low carb processed snacks out there. If u want to cut out artificial ingredients, don’t expect to eat high carb dupes & if u want 100% healthy, don’t eat out of a package. That being said, these are delicious for what they are- lower carb, higher protein cookies. HOWEVER, Quest needs to STOP titling this as keto friendly b/c that is bait & untrue!!

Great for Keto
I started a keto diet after being fed up with being overweight. These cookies quickly became a staple in my diet, and continue to be in my diet since switching over to low-carbing. They taste way better than most keto products and contributed to helping me lose over 50 pounds.

Poor Quality Control
I buy these cookies in boxes of 3 at a time to save a bit. A few months ago, I noticed that a few cookies in one of the boxes were stale. Because it was my last box and past the 30 days, I reached out to Quest directly to inquire. Their customer service wasn’t the best in terms of responsiveness and took a few months to get one coupon for a replacement cookie or bar. I was a bit annoyed, but I did eat them, so I was grateful. Today I’m opening another one of my more recent boxes and find the one cookie is open. Dumb me, I take it out and take a bite. Same stale experience from a few months ago, but this time makes sense since the back seam of the cookie package wasn’t sealed. Attached are pictures of one of the 3 cookies where the back seam wasn’t closed by whatever machine they use to do this. You’ll notice that it’s relatively smooth. Another picture shows the ridges of a properly sealed cookie. There’s another picture that shows the same seam, but that it was pinched by the mechanism. In short, there’s a problem with quality control. I suggest you open your box ASAP to confirm that there aren’t issue. Because if you have issues, Quest’s customer support isn’t as great as Amazon’s.

Surprisingly delicious
I love that it has only a gram of sugar and still tastes like a real chocolate chip cookie, soft and chewy and quite big and satisfying. I dont like my cookies or pastries too sweet and most of the regular high sugar products sold in stores are too sweet for me. An additional plus is the 9 grams of fiber and its keto friendly. Plenty of chocolate chips. I only wish there wasnt bioengineered ingredients in the cookies.

I love their powders and bars like no other! But these were a let down to me. I even tried the ‘favorite’ of most on the reviews and still came up lacking to me. I would rather have one of their bars for a treat than this cookie. If you get a bite with the chocolate in it, it is okay, but the bites without any chocolate are pretty bland and texture was very dry.

Best tasting PROTEIN cookie
I have been eating these chocolate chip cookies for several years now ever since I discovered them. Given that I am into fitness I am always on the look out for protein based snacks that don’t taste horrible. Which unfortunately, most do. Most of the time, the bad taste really cannot be helped if you want something that is high in protein and low in sugar. The artificial substitutes are just too much to overcome in terms of taste. These cookies are not going to taste anywhere near as good as your bakery or homemade cookies. Nor will they be as good as regular, store bought packaged cookies either. The texture is much dryer due to the protein concentrate. And because Erythritol is used as a sugar substitute, it will not taste as sweet or “chocolatey”. But given that, these still taste good enough to me to be able to eat every day and still be enjoyable.

Delicious cookie.
I ordered the chocolate chip cookies. I am not a big fan of sweets but every now and then I crave a chocolate chip cookie. These were perfect as they are individually wrapped. One cookie will last me a whole day just to take all pieces of it. I personally love a crispy cookie and these are a soft chewy cookie. They taste just like a regular soft chocolate chip cookie to me. Others complain about an after taste but I don’t see it…taste it. I find th to be no different than a soft cookie. If there was any noticable off taste I would say it reminds me of an almond flavor cookie.

Good Snack to Help Curve Cravings
I’m a big snacker, but I was looking for a healthy alternative to eating cookies. I stumbled upon Quest and thought I give them a shot. One thing to note is that there isn’t any sugar, so the taste will seem a little bland. Not necessarily a bad thing, but don’t expect Nestle Toll House flavor. However, this is only a small inconvenience in the grand scheme of things. Meaning, when you’re purchasing this, you understand that there will be some sacrifices that are made in order to keep the calories down. These cookies definitely help me get through the day during that 2-5PM time when I want to snack on something while at work. One cookie is enough to hold me over until dinner.

Tasty cookies, but pretty expensive!
I love the way these protein cookies taste, but the price is a bit high. Also received only 11 cookies instead of 12 inside my last shipment which is pretty upsetting given the price of each cookie. Once again, love the taste but the price and quality control are breaking my heart.

Healthy sweet treat
Buy this if you are looking for a healthier option to regular chocolate chip cookies. Things to note:1. It has the “protein powder” after taste. If you know, you know. However it is not bad compared to others I’ve tried.2. It’s very sweet.3. Texture is smooth- not grainy at all.All in all, my kids like these. I put these in their school lunch boxes often for added protein. I like knowing it’s a better choice than Oreos or other packaged junk food cookies.

Freakin’ Delicious
I like to read all of the 1 star reviews before I make a decision to try a product. After reading, I decided to give these chocolate chip, low carb, zero sugar cookies a go anyway… and boy am I glad that I did. These cookies give me just what I need in a time of craving a sweet snack. People fail to realize, these aren’t made with real sugar, nor are the made with regular cookie dough. They are loaded with added protein and fiber and you expect them to taste like regular cookies? I love them… I eat 1 per day. I don’t get any aftertaste like some of the reviews I’ve read state… my packages were all sealed properly… and all of my cookies had an expiration of Jan 2024. Are these as good as regular cookies??? Hell no! But they hit different. If you want to eat regular cookies, then have at it, but if you’re contemplating giving these a shot to meet diet or fitness goals or for medical reasons, all I can say is “try them for yourself”… to each their own opinion.

Guilt free tasty treat
The chocolate chip is my favorite keto treat. It hits my sweet tooth like no other low carb low sugar options. You can slightly taste the protein but not enough to ruin the chewiness of the cookie. Plenty of chocolate chips is a bonus. 5 out of 5!

Decent Taste, But Not Perfect
I recently tried the Quest Nutrition Chocolate Chip Protein Cookie, and my experience with the product was mixed. While the taste was decent, there were some aspects of the cookie that left me wanting more.On the positive side, the cookie had a rich chocolate flavor and was sweet enough to satisfy my sweet tooth. The cookie also had a nice texture and did not feel too dry or crumbly, which was a pleasant surprise. Additionally, the fact that the cookie is keto-friendly and low in carbs was a definite plus. However, there were some aspects of the cookie that I was not as impressed with. The cookie had a slightly artificial taste and did not taste like a homemade chocolate chip cookie. Additionally, I found the cookie to be a bit too sweet for my liking, and it left a somewhat artificial aftertaste.Overall, I would recommend the Quest Nutrition Chocolate Chip Protein Cookie to anyone who is looking for a low-carb and keto-friendly snack option. While the taste may not be perfect, the cookie does have a decent flavor and texture, and it is a convenient and healthy snack option.
