Authorities in our business will tell in no uncertain terms that Lorem Ipsum is that huge, huge no no to forswear forever. Not so fast, I'd say, there are some redeeming factors in favor of greeking text, as its use is merely the symptom of a worse problem to take into consideration.
Product care
Anyway, you still use Lorem Ipsum and rightly so, as it will always have a place in the web workers toolbox, as things happen, not always the way you like it, not always in the preferred order.

EASY TO USE…
If you’re someone looking for an every day type of heavy duty juicer…I’d skip this review and product and move onto something more expensive. But, if you’re like me…lazy and just want some fresh juice every now and then…I highly recommend this product! First of all, you get what you pay for. This is a cheaply made product that most likely will break if you’re not careful. Now, I’ve used this twice in a week’s period. I’ve washed the pladtic removeable items in the dishwasher and have been able to assemble everything back myself. The juicer is small and easy to handle. It’s weight is probably that of a casserole dish, light but heavy enough you gotta use both hands. I find assembly easy. However, the cone part and the pulp catcher/grinder part just make sure to snap/twist them together. I thought you could just place them on top of each other and move about your business, but they actually twist together. You’ll see what I mean if you purchase it. It still works either way, but sounds a bit off if you don’t twist them tight. As for noise, it’s no louder than an electric can opener, in my opinion. It’s not super quiet, but quiet enough my cat can sit on the counter and stare at me while I’m juicing. It doesn’t seem to bother the dogs either. I find it quieter than a blender. But, if you’re using this product in an empty room or hallway, you’re gonna hear it and it’s gonna be loud. But in my normal sized home, it’s no different than opening a few cans.I’ve only juiced oranges, so far, so any other items I can’t comment on it’s ability to do. I use regular sized oranges and cut them in half, where when you’re juicing, the “stem” part is facing the ceiling. Not a lot of pressure has to be used to get it started, however, I find placing both hands (one of top of the other) and pressing down on the fruit works best for me just for more even juicing and stability. I had my 70 year old mother try pressing down to enhance my review status on whether this would work for elderly people. She doesn’t have a whole lot of strength in her hands/arms and was able to juice a half of an orange. Now, do I think she would get as much juice out as I would? No. Most likely because I want to get every last pulp thread out and in that juicer. But, I do feel the weight and ease of this machine is workable for those who are elderly and/or don’t have a lot of strength in their hands/arms.The best method I’ve used so far is to kind of move the orange around while it’s on the machine. Just a tiny back and forth, side to side motion to get all sides of the fruit. As far as mess, its a cheap juicer so your gonna have some mess to clean up. It definently doesn’t splatter everywhere and for the most part stays within the little rim pieces, but you’ll get an occasional splash here or there. I also noticed by about the 3rd “half” of orange, the circular rim piece gets a bit full. Thats when I’ll take the plastic cover and just place it over and push down to clean up the pulp inside and continue on with my juicing. However, I noticed that depending on the oranges and how much you’re actually pulping will determine how full the rim piece gets. All I did was lift everything off, give it a good rinse out and pat it dry real quick so it’s not soaking and put it all back on the machine. I let the pulp go down my garbage disposal while it was running because oranges do have acidity and can help clean the disposal of odor causing food leftovers. If you don’t have a garbage disposal or don’t feel comfortable rinsing pulp down your drains, then a paper towel to remove the pulp is probably more your best bet.It took me 4 whole oranges to juice an 18oz glass. One con I have is that you can only juice with a small cup under the spout/spicket part as it isn’t tall so a 12oz glass is about the most you can put under it and will just have to empty it into a bigger glass when done. Also, for about 4 oranges, it’s about 10-15 minutes to juice between setup, juicing and cleanup. It’s a compact juicer so it’s not a heavy duty juicer that I would recommend for an everyday juicer. While the item never got hot physically, I’d think if you’re using it everyday, it probably won’t last long. But, if you’re someone just using it on weekends or for family holiday types of things, this is ideal. It’s easy to store with not a lot of misc parts to it. I put it back in the box and in the closet.

Works great, easy to clean, lots of pulp
Great value for the price. After searching for weeks for a quality juicer and getting scared away by problems with more expensive juicers, I thought I’d try the cheaper one. I’ve had it more than a month with no issues. There are 3 parts to clean so it’s super easy and quick. The only downside I’ve found is the amount of pulp. The instructions show 3 different slot parts to control how much pulp you want (I want none) but only one is included and this one allows pulp to go through and into the glass. You have to search and purchase the part that stops all pulp, which I haven’t done because I’m bust and lazy. I’ve learned to live with the pulp though because fresh squeezed orange juice is so good. It’s also nice that you can hold the spout up and choose to squeeze juice with out it pouring into the glass at the same time – at first I thought it didn’t work bc no juice was coming out!If it lasts, then it’s a great value. I’ll update if it doesn’t hold up over the months.

Convenient and easy to clean
The media could not be loaded.
This juicer is a delightful addition to my kitchen arsenal. Its sleek design and stainless steel accents not only add a touch of elegance but also promise durability. The adjustable pulp control settings are a standout feature, allowing me to cater to everyone’s preference in the household, from pulp-free to extra pulpy. The juicer operates a bit noisy, while still acceptable. It’s also incredibly user-friendly, the intuitive assembly means I can go from craving to sipping fresh juice in minutes. The “Final-Spin” feature is great, extracting every last drop of juice, ensuring no waste and maximum flavor. It is also easy to clean in dish washing with fewer parts. This juicer is a solid performer with thoughtful features that make juicing a breeze. It’s not perfect, but it’s close enough to earn a bright spot on my countertop. I would recommend it.

Great Cuisinart Citrus Juicer Offers Many Benefits Over Manual Juicers
Before I actually saw a citrus juicer in action on TV, I always thought that they were for lazy people who didn’t want to juice their own lemons. I was wrong. I bought this juicer after watching the Barefoot Contessa on the Food Network use it in almost every episode, and now I know why. Let me just lay out the benefits of using an electric citrus juicer as opposed to using a wooden reamer. First of all, if you need to measure out a precise amount of citrus juice for a recipe, it is much easier to put a measuring cup under the plastic snap-up spout of the electric juicer rather than trying to aim into the measuring cup using a wooden reamer. Second, electric juicers get so much more juice out of citrus fruits than a regular lemon squeezer. The Cuisinart citrus juicer automatically switches the direction of the reamer to get the most out of the citrus. Another benefit of electric juicers is the fact that when you are using an electric juicer citrus juice won’t squirt into your eyes as does a manual juicer. Also, the Cuisinart features a unique “Final-Spin” feature similar to that in a clothes washing machine. How the final-spin feature works is that once you take the empty citrus off of the reamer, you press the clear plastic lid down onto the juicer which makes the reamer spin really fast and uses centrifugal force to squeeze all the juice out of the remaining pulp. You just can’t do that with a wooden reamer. Another benefit of the Cuisinart juicer is that it filters out the pulp. Most if not all electric citrus juicers have this feature, however, most manual juicers don’t. Also, with the Cuisinart, every removable part is dishwasher safe which is very convenient for cleaning. I mentioned the snap-up spout earlier in this review but I didn’t explain what it was. Basically, the snap-up spout stops the juice from getting on your countertop which is especially useful if you don’t want lemon juice all over your counters. The Cuisinart juicer features a stainless steel body which looks very nice and will definitely last a long time. A lot of electric juicers’ motors are very loud, but that isn’t the case with the Cuisinart. The Cuisinart isn’t that loud and won’t interrupt normal conversations. Overall, electric citrus juicers offer many benefits over manual juicers, and if you are willing to purchase one I would fully recommend the Cuisinart for it’s final spin feature and it’s stainless steel body.Pros:- Unique “final-spin” feature- Stainless steel body- Snap-up spout- Quieter than most electric citrus juicers- Pulp-controlCons:- NoneIf you found this review helpful I would appreciate it if you clicked the “helpful” button below this review. Excellent device
Very efficient..produced a full cup of juice with only 2 navel oranges. Well engineered…with a high speed spinner that extracts additional juice from remaining pulp in the container. Great price, easy to clean, and takes up minimal storage space. For those concerned about fruit flies…they hate citrus…

Best Purchase of 2023
Brilliant juicer, I should have purchased this appliance long ago. I’ve never owned an electric juicer, I have a manual one which I no longer had the attention span to juice 10-20 limes. Clean up is easy, 2 moving parts only and it looks smart on a kitchen counter.Do not juice citrus with wet hands, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO HOLD THE FRUIT WHILST THE TOP IS ROTATING! Better yet, hold the fruit with two hands using your thumb, index and middle finger in both hands. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PRESS WITH FULL BODY WEIGHT! Hold the fruit in place with light pressure, it will do its job. There’s a reason why people are burning the motor out, I think I just helped with that problem.12 Limes gave me a yield of 500ml/2 Cups and then some….. total time, 10 minutesI like home made Margarita Mix for my guests and this juicer helped me get through the 2023 Holiday Season like a culinary/host pro!Margarita Mix2 cups / 500ml of Fresh Squeezed Lime Juice with all its pulp2 packets of Crystal Lite Lemonade (each packet makes 2 quarts)Using a 1 gallon container, pour in lime juice, add Crystal Lite packets, stir mixture well, add 112 ounces of water, stir, chill.****It’s very important to only add 112 ounces of water as the lime juice measures 16 ounces. You don’t want to water down the mix!Cheers!

Useful product but hard to use and clean
The juicer looks good and easy to carry around however when it comes to use, its not the best I would say. Have used this pulp citrus juicer with oranges, clementine and other varieties. Its the same problem, you have to press hard, makes a lot of noice and the pulp residue often sticks to the base and makes a mess. Cleaning is not that bad compared to bigger once we have used but not that easy aswell. On the whole its good for if you need it few times, but would not recommend for regular use.

If I could give this a ZERO Star rating I would
There used to be a time when “Made in the USA” meant you were getting quality and endurance. If you just wanted to fill a need, as inexpensively as possible, you’d get the Chinese made version. But if you wanted an appliance, or tool, or furniture, or any other kind of product to LAST, you’d get the American made version. Those days are gone. Today, even the expensive products are Made in China, and NONE of them are made to last. For years I’ve used Proctor Silex’ “Juicit” electric citrus juicers. When my house burned down in 2020, and I had to replace everything, I was thrilled to find a Juicit at a Thrift store, and even though the top was from a different model than the base, and it sat crooked, I struggled on with it, never thinking to replace it, because it reminded of my old “friend” from my previous life.Recently, my trusty Juicit stopped working. Being that it’s the beginning of citrus season, I went online to find a worthy replacement. It was Christmas season, and my Etsy storewas doing well. I decided to try and upgrade to a more expensive juicer, perhaps get a little more bang for my buck. The first thing I always do when shopping online is go to the 1 Star reviews. I looked at many juicers ranging from $29 to over $250. Sadly, I encountered the same complaints, no matter how costly the machine:CHEAP PLASTIC PARTS.No matter the price, there were always several reviews saying it never worked, or broke almost immediately. So why spend the big bucks, if it might stop working at any moment? I couldn’t find my old friend if I wanted to buy a new one. Proctor Silex’s Juicit ones were now made of shiny plastic, too.My old Juicit had its 4+ lb motor encased in steel. The basket to catch the pulp was also metal, and the reamer was ceramic. The only plastic part was the top that housed the basket and the reamer.I chose a Cuisinart juicer for $30. It was listed as a “Stainless Steel Juicer”. I cook with Stainless Steel or Cast Iron. I try not to use plastic as much as I can. I store my leftovers in glass.Imagine my surprise when I received my suspiciously lightweight package, opened it and found that except for the decorative motor housing, the entire REST of the product was PLASTIC! My organic juice would not be protected from exposure to plastic at all. It would touch nothing BUT plastic.I opened it up. I weighed the motor and housing. Just over 2 lbs. Then I tried it out, even though I had my doubts that something so lightweight and flimsy would impress me. It didn’t.How anyone could rate this inferior product anything higher than 2 stars is beyond my understanding! If I could give it ZERO stars, I would. But, I can tell myself that 1 Star is the proper rating because there were actually two features I like about it: if you let up, and then start pressing again, it reverses direction. And also, the spout can be pushed up so no juice leaks out when you don’t want it to. If only those two features could be incorporated in the design of other juicers! But those are truly the only two features that I like at all.First off, it should not take 15 minutes to squeeze 8 oz of juice! The motor is pathetically weak, and I have to press HARDER than when I use my handheld manual juicer! Not only that, but it’s SO lightweight that if you exert ANY kind of pressure on it, it starts bouncing around the counter, spilling juice on all sides. I wedged it in. The stove on one side, the wall behind, my blender on the other side and a giant cutting board in front of it. There was a 2 inch gap though, next to the stove. That gave it enough room to STILL bounce around, spilling my juice everywhere again! But does it end there? No. The top part consists of two pieces. The outer casing, and the basket/reamer that have been combined into one unit. Sadly, this basket is about half the height of my beloved Juicit, and needs to be emptied out halfway through! You can’t even squeeze a full glass of juice before it needs emptying! And not only that, but the engineers who developed this less than stellar product decided that instead of deepening the basket to properly catch the pulp, they’d put a “lip” around it, making it virtually impossible to just scoop out the pulp with a spoon, or even a finger. The ONLY way to empty it is by removing it and turning it upside down, with juice dripping as I make my way across my kitchen to the sink, in the process!I am returning this juicer, as soon as I get my used (but new to me) Juicit which I purchased on eBay. It cost me more than the new Cuisinart, but I have confidence that it will not be bouncing all over the counter, or fighting me to hold on to the pulp. Nor will I be juicing my organic citrus with plastic parts. I’m crossing my fingers that the top will fit on the base, but even if it doesn’t, it will still be better than the brand new Cuisinart one (touted as “Stainless Steel”), which I look forward to returning!Man, I miss the old days, when, if you could afford it, you could pay more for quality products that actually lasted.

Great juicer
I am so happy I got this juicer. It sure made quick work of doing a bunch of lemons. So much better than doing by hand and it hurts your wrist. I couldn’t be happier with it. It’s so easy to disassemble and wash up. There are no cons that I can think of about it. All Pros.
