Higher salt,great taste.
This is the Campbell’s noodle soup many of us grew up on. This is the gold label (higher in salt) version. Frankly I prefer this as it tastes delicious just like it always has.I generally dont like soup much but I do love this and eat at least 2 cans a week of this. I dont add any water to it and so its full flavored. They suggest diluting it but I find the full can as is to be a better taste. As mentioned before, this is the full salt version of their soup so if you’re watching salt intake you might want to try their blue label soups instead.I keep some of this soup all the time in my kitchen and will sometimes have a can at work during break. The cans have a pull top so you don’t have to carry a can opener. If you buy damaged cans, be sure the damage has not already opened the pop top. The top that peels off can also be very sharp. Do use caution not to cut yourself and dispose of the top in the empty can safely.This is the best tasting noodle soup ever and is still popular decades after it was originally introduced. You can’t go wrong buying this if you love chicken noodle soup and don’t mind some salt.

Hardly Any Chicken
This soup has been around for decades. It is very good tasting and has plenty of noodles, but only a very few tiny cubes of chicken, about 3/8 inch by 3/8/inch. About 60 years ago my mother used to say about the lack of chicken: “Well, they walked a chicken through it.” LOL! We buy this soup because it tastes good and one can is just right for two servings. BUT…..we add our own chunks of chicken cut from deep fried chicken breasts. Then it is REALLY good!

Finally Found These!
I used to be able to get this soup at the grocery store, but no more. I love this soup and think it is better than the regular tomato soup by Campbell’s. The soup I have ordered through Amazon is exactly the same as I used to buy locally. When I cannot find things locally, I am thrilled to be able to purchase through Amazon. Now I have this on hand, the price is comparable, and it arrives quickly.

Similar to soup I had when I had my knee replaced
Sounds insane, I know. But! The surgical center where I had my knee done served this wonderful chicken soup and unfortunately I ate half of it and then fell asleep. They took it away, of course and I was broken hearted. So I made it my quest to find a replacement. Tried many soups but THIS one was nearly 100% like the soup I had in the surgical center. Very flavorful, and even though we usually eat it with some buttered bread or English muffins you don’t need to. It is very hearty and delicious.

It’s got a kick to it.
If you’re familiar with Campbells line up of soups in microwavable bowls then you’ve got a good idea of the sizing and portion. The bowls don’t get too hot when taken out of the microwave, and the plastic seal is easy to open even for someone with arthritis.The spicy chicken noodles are essentially the same as the regular chicken noodles except it’s got some kick to it. I’m not super big on spicy foods like some of my friends that brag about eating peppers forged in mount doom — but I like a little heat now and again. For me I found the heat level to be just about right i’d say a 3.5 out of 10.0 for spicy level.

I got this soup for my mother whom I refer to as Mikey (certain ages know the name reference lol) being that she is so picky about what she likes to eat. I was pleasantly surprised that she keeps asking for this soup. I use about 3/4 cup of water and add onion and garlic powder and a squeeze of tomato paste. Her only complaint was not enough rice so you can easily add a couple tablespoons of rice and water to the pot prior to adding soup let it cook a bit then add soup. I had some extra chicken I also threw in. You can either use this soup as a base and go wild or just heat it up for a quick meal. Just happy Mikey likes it. 😉
